We currently have an opening for a Casino Systems Administrator. This person will configure, troubleshoot and maintain the AS400 and ACSC systems and assemblies by performing the following:


 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs analysis of AS400 and ACSC needs and contributes to design, structure and maintenance of the systems and architecture.
  • Installs and maintains AS400 and ACSC hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals, and wiring.
  • Evaluates systems hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations.
  • Coordinates installation of hardware and software by others.
  • Provides support to and trains users in AS400 and ACSC administration and usage.
  • Monitors and maintains system stability.
  • Communicates and coordinates maintenance schedule, backups, and downtime to users.
  • Coordinates third-party maintenance for AS400 and ACSC hardware, software, and related systems.
  • Prepares and maintains documentation of system configurations and cabling layouts.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
                                    

Oversees the effective application, training, and use of the Local Area Network and its associated applications. (I.e. File and Print Services, Backups, Remote Access, Etc...)

 REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have at least a High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have AS400 and ACSC experience.
  • 2-3 years casino experience working in this field.
  • Knowledge of SWS and Infinium preferred.

 All positions require that you successfully pass a drug screening test and background investigation.
